During the years that our central Cathedral building has been closed, our wonderful people have stayed the course, humming in service to our community. Below is a snapshot of some of the good mahi we do around and welcome you to come and be apart of.


THE GOOD CAFE

Tuesday: 7:30am - 10:00am
Te Wharekai, The Vicarage (downstairs)

THE GOOD CAFE (formally the Community Cafe) is a vibrant hub of hospitality and delicious breakfast every Tuesday morning, raising tens of thousands of dollars for various charitable projects. Come and enjoy our beautiful breakfast spread with our community. Just pay what you can.


GARDENING GROUP

9:00am - 12:00pm
1st & 3rd Wednesday of the Month
Taranaki Cathedral Site

GARDENING GROUP A group of volunteers who look after the churchyard and the gardens around Taranaki Cathedral. Attendance is flexible, new volunteers are always welcome! A 10.30am coffee break in the Vicarage is a key part of working bees. Do come and join us!

ST. MARY’S OPSHOP

ST. MARY’S OP-SHOP donates proceeds from sales to many community service organisations across Taranaki and the shop’s new makeover has expanded its capacity for generosity. All donations welcome in opening hours.


FOOD 4 THOUGHT

Thursday: 10:00am - 11:15am
The Library, Hatherly Hall

FOOD 4 THOUGHT is a group of women who meet weekly for Bible Study and fellowship. We begin with morning tea.

TE REO MĀORI BEGINNER CLASS A welcoming group on their Te Reo journey. Come along if you would like to hop on the waka, get confident with pronunciation. learn some words and your pepeha. No prior experience necessary.


MOTHERS UNION

1:30pm - 4:00pm
1st Wednesday of the Month
The Library, Hatherly Hall

MOTHERS UNION has been meeting for over 40 years. With a wealth of knowledge and wisdom and prayer these beautiful women are open armed to anyone who wished to attend.
