AGM and Sunday Services at Level 2

The return to Level 2 (and the gathering limit of 100) means we will revert to our usual two services (8am and 10am) this Sunday (August 16th). The AGM will take place directly after the 10am service.

Level 2 rules mean the return of some (now familiar) changes including:

  • 2-metre social distancing rules will apply (limit 50 parishioners per service)
  • Unfortunately, there will be no singing in the service and no cup of tea before or soup luncheon after the AGM

The situation is developing and may change depending on new government announcements. We will post up dated information on the website.

Although mask wearing is not mandatory at Level 2, you are more than welcome to use one (there is good scientific evidence that masks are an effective tool for limiting the spread of the virus).

While we remain at Level 2 the Stop In shop will be closed and the Community Café will take a break.

The Mother’s Union Service scheduled for next week will be postponed until a later date, as will the Men’s Breakfast on the 15th.

As you will appreciate, it is difficult to plan too far ahead right now. Rest assured we will be following government advice and making decisions that prioritise everyone’s safety.

Finally, remember to do what is right for you. There is absolutely no pressure to attend a Sunday Service or the AGM. Your physical, mental and spiritual health remains a top priority for all of us.

We will be in touch again soon
