Level 1 Activity Update

September 22, 2020

Now that we are back at Level 1 we are able to re-start many of the activities and events that have been on hold! Have a read below for details.

As we go about our lives, please remember that, changing alert levels will not magically change the way everyone feels or make the impacts of Covid-19 disappear from everyone’s lives. It is perfectly normal for people to experience the same thing in vastly different ways. Keep up that wonderful spirit of empathy and remember to be kind – to yourself as well as others!

Community Café – reopens from 7.30am Tuesday, September 29th

Faith Crew, PÅ«keko Stomp and Youth Groups are all back on – but they will be taking their usual break during term holidays (September 26th – October 12th)

Food For Thought – recommencing from (this Thursday or next???)

Men’s Breakfast – Saturday, October 17th

Mothers’ Union – Wednesday, October 7th

Saturday Luncheon – recommences from Saturday, October 3rd

Stop In Shop – open now

The Welcome Desk – back on Wednesdays and Fridays, from  10am to 12.15

Also please note in Level 1, Wednesday morning’s Eucharist service will be held in the Upper Hatherly Chapel.

In Alert Level 1 we can still all do our bit to keep ourselves and others safe from any undetected spread by:

  • Practicing good hygiene (staying home when ill, proper handwashing, sneezing or coughing into elbows).
  • Keeping track of where we go and who we’ve been with (use the Government’s Contact Tracing ap or booklet – there are copies at the Upper Hatherly entrance).
  • Physically distancing or wearing masks when out and about around people we don’t know (if you’re travelling into or through Auckland on Public Transport like buses, trains or planes you MUST wear a face covering).
