The new Dean of Taranaki Installed

The new Dean of the Taranaki Cathedral Church of St Mary, the Very Revd Peter Beck, was installed in the role at a ceremony in New Plymouth on Saturday, April 26, 2016. Dean Peter is a former Dean of Christchurch Cathedral, having resigned in 2011 after nearly 10 years in the job. He has filled the Taranaki role left by former Dean Jamie Allen. Peter Beck to be Dean of Taranaki Cathedral

The Bishop of Taranaki, Archbishop Philip Richardson and the Bishop of Waikato, Bishop Helen-­‐Ann Hartley are delighted to announce the appointment of the Reverend Peter Beck as Dean of Taranaki Cathedral to succeed the current Dean, the Very Reverend Jamie Allen who resigned recently. Interim cathedral dedicated in style
