Hi from Jo & Mark ! We are really well. We are loving Nepal and really thankful to the Lord for how well and quickly we are settling in. We have a lovely house that we are staying in. it is an INF guest house but we are the only people in it at the moment and it has six rooms and five bathrooms!!! We are enjoying learning the language as it makes communication easier but it is hard, frustrating and we still know very little. It isn't going to be an easy journey. Our roles here have now changed. We are staying in the town of Pokhara and Mark will be doing project management of an outpatient clinic building project on the INF hospital site here. I will be working in the gvt hospital trying to show the staff how to respect and love the patients rather than see a few patients, read the paper and try and recruit for their private clinics which make more money!! it won't be easy but being Christ in any community isn't. We are updating our blog regularly which has lots of information on it. www.markandjoinnepal.blogspot.com |
